Mark Rahner - Anchor, The Mo Kelly Show

Mark Rahner is a KFI news anchor for The Mo Kelly Show.  

He’s also a veteran journalist, critic, talk radio host, podcaster, and comic book writer.  

Mark was on the Seattle Times team that won a Pulitzer Prize for breaking news and has reported from the thick of the WTO riots and armed standoffs, as well as Comic-Con. His interviews range from George Carlin to Stephen Hawking, and he was once choked by David Carradine. He has been an op-ed columnist, a humor columnist, and a home video columnist.  

Mark hosted a talk show at KIRO and the long-running “Special Ops” pop culture geek podcast at KISW, in Seattle. He was also a DJ at an alternative rock station in Indiana and at Washington State University.  

His comic work includes The Twilight Zone, Vampirella, Army of Darkness, The Green Hornet, The Avenger, Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, and the horror-western, Rotten.  

A former crime beat reporter, he has also written Law & Order games for NBCUniversal and was partial to writing Lennie Briscoe’s dialogue.  

Mark moved to Los Angeles in 2018 and goes to the New Beverly Cinema when it’s safe.
