Two teenage Harvard students are using their technical skill to help Ukrainian refugees find shelter.
Nineteen year-old Avi Schiffman and 18-year-old Marco Burstein have created the site, Ukraine Take Shelter, which pairs refugees with hosts who can provide them shelter.
Schiffman had the idea after encountering Ukrainians during a demonstration in San Diego. He told CNN "I couldn't sit there and do nothing".
The pair spent three days doing non-stop work to get the site up and within a week after the launch on March 3rd had been used by more than 4,000 people fleeing Ukraine during the Russian invasion.
