PALMDALE (CNS) - A man was shot and killed in Palmdale today.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were called just after 5:35 p.m. to the 2000 block of Olive Drive, near Joshua Hills Park, on reports of the shooting, according to Deputy Lizette Falcon of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The man was taken to a hospital with at least one gunshot wound, but died en route. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
Details on what led up to the shooting were not immediately available, and no suspect description was provided.
