William Hurt, the Oscar-winning star of "Kiss of the Spider Woman," "The Big Chill," and "Broadcast News" has died.

Hurt's family said in a statement Sunday, "He died peacefully, among family, of natural causes."
- Hurt had been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018.
His most recent roles on-screen included General Thaddeus Ross in the Marvel films "The Incredible Hulk," "Captain America: Civil War," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers Endgame," and "Black Widow."
