Despite having to shut down 108 restaurants in Ukraine, McDonald's is still taking care of their employees.
- The fast-food company has continued to pay its employees in the country as the war with Russia endures.
- They have also set up an assistance program for workers living in Ukraine, with $5 million to help aid them during this time.
- "We are continuing to pay full salaries for our Ukrainian employees and have donated $5 million to our Employee Assistance Fund, and continue to support relief efforts led by the International Red Cross in the region," said McDonald's CEO and President Chris Kempczinski.
- Do you think more companies in Ukraine should do this for their employees during this time? Would your job do this for you?
