PALMDALE (CNS) - A man was fatally shot today by a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy in Palmdale.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. in the 6900 block of Jack Rabbit Way, near 70th Street East, according to Deputy Lizette Falcon.
The man died at the scene, Falcon said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The department did not release any information regarding events leading up to the shooting.
