SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 51-year-old man in Santa Ana was arrested on suspicion of child molestation for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old family member, authorities said today, and they are asking for help locating other possible victims.
The victim had run away from home and went to live with the suspect, Alejandro Heredia-Santana, who authorities said was a soccer coach for an unknown league in Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
Detectives located the victim, as she was still attending school and returned her to her mother. Detectives arrested Heredia-Santana on March 3, as he arrived to pick up the girl from school.
Heredia-Santana was booked at the Orange County Jail on multiple sexual assault-related charges. His bail was set at $50,000 and he was released after posting bail.
