WHITTIER (CNS) - A 30-year-old man who was shot to death in Whittier was publicly identified by authorities today.
The shooting was reported at about 4 p.m. Monday at a parking lot in the 13200 block of Imperial Highway, near Zimmerman Park, according to Deputy Lizette Falcon of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Andrew Gonzalez, whose city of residence was unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting was under investigation, and no suspect description was available. Anyone with information about the crime was asked to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
