Today (Tuesday) is International Women's Day.
- It's a day set aside, dating back to the early 1900s, to celebrate the global "social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women," according to the International Women's Day website.
- The day also calls for action to advance gender equality.
- This year's theme is Break The Bias and asks people to show their support for women by posting selfies to social media posing with their arms crossed along with #BreakTheBias or #IWD2022.
