LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Blac Chyna's lawsuit against female members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, in which the model alleges the defendants caused her to lose considerable money after the cancellation of the ``Rob & Chyna'' reality show, will be tried ahead of Chyna's revenge-porn claim against former fiance Rob Kardashian, a judge ruled today.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory W. Alarcon issued his decision after hearing that both sides agreed the cases should proceed in that matter. He said the revenge-porn trial will take place about a week after the end of the first trial, which is scheduled to start April 15.
``You all discussed this and decided that's the order you want to do it in, right?'' Alarcon asked.
The lawyers, who replied affirmatively, told the judge the first trial is expected to take two weeks and the second two days. Chyna's attorney, Lynne Ciani, said she preferred a non-jury trial for the revenge-porn case, but Rob Kardashian's lawyer, Melissa Y. Lerner, said she wants a jury trial. Both sides must agree for a jury trial to be waived.
Chyna's real name is Angela White and she filed her suit in November 2017. Her claims against Kris Jenner, Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are defamation and interference with prospective economic advantage. Chyna alleges the four women falsely claimed she physically abused Rob Kardashian while they were a couple. Rob Kardashian recently dropped a separate lawsuit he filed over the alleged beating.
Chyna maintains that E! would have gone forward with a second season of ``Rob & Chyna'' but for the allegedly false statements made against her by the Kardashian and Jenner women to the network representatives in late 2016 and early 2017.
Chyna's revenge-porn claim alleges that in July 2017, Rob Kardashian used social media to post pictures of Chyna's naked breasts, backside and genitals. He also accused her of sleeping with another man in ``the same bed Chyna and I made our baby in.'' He later took down some of the photos.
Chyna, 33, and Kardashian, 34, began dating in January 2016. The two broke up in the summer of 2017. They have a daughter, Dream Renee, who is now 5 years old.
