McClintock is catching heat over his very blunt perspective after saying that this war is a European war that has become an American problem of our own making. Check out his full statement.

This is not a call to war with Russia. It is a wake-up call that America is growing dangerously vulnerable in an increasingly violent and unstable world. The unconditional surrender to the Taliban and the debacle that followed, and our own unwillingness to defend our southern border against two million illegal border crossings last year, have fundamentally altered the calculations of both allies and adversaries around the world.
More and more Americans are beginning to realize that because of our "green" enviro ideals and "woke" social efforts, we have become a weaker country. These Ukrainians are tough and defiant. Putin may have underestimated the world's reaction to the bloodshed and deaths because of his invasion.
Question? Are Americans just as tough as these Ukrainians or have we become soft ?
