MONTEBELLO (CNS) - Authorities in Montebello investigated social media posts containing possible threats targeting Schurr High School and found them not credible, but extra officers will be on the campus today.
``Montebello Police Department is aware of possible school threats circulating on social media related to Schurr High School,'' according to a statement from the city.
The campus at 820 N. Wilcox Ave. is part of the Montebello Unified School District.
``We've investigated these threats and found them to not be credible,'' according to the city. ``Out of caution, MPD and MUSD police officers will be on campus throughout the day.''
