A Florida woman is accused of stabbing her husband 140 times and hitting his head with a meat cleaver at their home.
According to Palm Springs Police, 61-year-old Joan Burke is accused of stabbing her disabled husband. She has been charged with first-degree murder. No motive has been announced yet.
The victim's stepson found his body in the couple's kitchen floor in a pool of blood on February 11th. Police found a meat cleaver covered in blood in the sink and blood splatter throughout the kitchen.
Joan Burke was found in her bedroom with cuts on both of her hands, a Florida news outlet reported.
According to the medical examiner, the victim had stab wounds throughout his entire body.
