Teacher Pleads Guilty To Lacing Students' Cupcakes With Husband's Sperm

A Lousiana teacher has pleaded guilty to giving her junior high school students cupcakes... laced with her husband's sperm.

But that wasn't all.

36-year-old Cynthia Perkins admitted to a list of sex crimes as well in court earlier this week, including child pornography and second-degree rape. The teacher and her now ex-husband, Dennis Perkins, were arrested back in 2019 on more than 150 sex crime-related charges, which included sexually abusing a child together too.

Cynthia is expected to be sentenced to 41 years in prison as part of a plea deal today (Friday). Dennis, who was fired from his job as a sheriff's deputy, faces trial in May.

"She not only waived any right to appeal, and attempt to avoid conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial," Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said Monday. "Today’s conviction is in the best interest of our victims and justice."
