DUARTE (CNS) - A 59-year-old general contractor was arrested for his alleged failure to pay a pair of day laborers for work and for his alleged failure to complete a construction job in Duarte for which he was paid.
Ken Park was arrested on Jan. 25 in La Mirada by detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, according to LASD Deputy Alejandra Parra.
Park was facing six felony counts for his alleged actions in April 2021, which Parra claimed included paying the day laborers with checks he knew were not good.
Park posted $95,000 bail and was released from custody, Parra said.
The Special Victims Task Force is asking anyone who believes he or she was cheated by Park to call them at 877-710-5273.
