LONG BEACH (CNS) - Authorities sought the public's help today to solve the killing of a man who was gunned down in Long Beach.
Gaylon Bolton, 33, of Los Angeles, was shot about 9:45 p.m. Thursday near Atlantic Avenue and Burnett Street and died at the scene, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Officers sent to the location on reports of gunshots in the area found Bolton, who had suffered multiple wounds to his upper body, police said.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was available. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call detectives at 562-570-7244, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
