LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man was shot in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles today and police were searching for the suspect.
The shooting was reported at 2:27 p.m. in the area of West 52nd Street and Normandie Avenue, but details on what led up to the crime were not immediately known, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD reported a man suffered a gunshot wound and was in unknown condition. Paramedics were called to the scene, but left without transporting anyone, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Police were searching for the shooter, who was described only as a male.
