A San Francisco 49ers fan is in a medically-induced coma after he was attacked during Sunday's NFC Championship game, authorities say.

Daniel Luna, 40, was found unconscious in the parking lot of So-Fi Stadium following the Rams' defeat of the 49ers, the victim of an apparent beating, according to the Inglewood Police Department.
"They believe he suffered from an assault at the stadium to his upper body and facial area," says Police Lt. Geoffrey Meeks.
Because Luna was found with his wallet, phone and watch, investigators don't believe robbery was a motive in the beating, Meeks adds.
Luna, who owns a restaurant in Oakland, had attended the game alone after friends cancelled on him, his wife tells the Los Angeles Times. The suspects in the beating remain at large, Meeks says.
