CNN president Jeff Zucker is stepping down, after admitting to a 'consensual relationship' with another network executive.
- Zucker says he did not initially disclose the relationship, which came to light during the recent investigation into ex-CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.
- CNN's chief marketing officer Allison Gollust came forward as the exec in question, writing "I regret that we didn’t disclose it at the right time." She will reportedly remain at CNN.
- Zucker's resignation is effective immediately, with a transition plan to be announced shortly.
