CARSON (CNS) - A man was shot to death today in Carson.
Deputies from the Carson Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded at 8:16 p.m. to 16929 E. Abbottson St., where they found the victim inside a car suffering from gunshot wounds, said Deputy Tracer Koerner of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Investigators learned another vehicle at some point pulled up alongside the victim and shot him before speeding away.
The suspect vehicle was described as a light colored van but there is no suspect description at this time, Koerner said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown if the shooting is gang-related.
