Coroner Identifies Man Killed on Freeway Transition Road

DIAMOND BAR (CNS) - County authorities today identified the person who was killed on a freeway transition road in Diamond Bar.  

Kevin Flores, 31, was identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.  

Officers from the California Highway Patrol were called to the scene at approximately 1:07 a.m. Thursday to the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway and the northbound Orange (57) Freeway exchange, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball. The transition road between the 60 and 57 Freeways was shut down for the death investigation.  

Flores, whose city of residency was not known, was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner listed his cause of death as blunt trauma.  

Kimball said the cause of the collision is under investigation.
