LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The spike in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County prompted an L.A. cabaret to postpone all shows for at least the first two weeks of the year, it announced today.

Largo at the Coronet sent a message to patrons, saying, “COVID numbers are ramping up again and the word is that the next two weeks may see a severe spike in infections.”

Operators of the nightclub at 366 N. La Cienega Blvd. said they plan to reopen Jan. 14, and that any one with tickets to the affected shows will be able to attend on the rescheduled date.

“When we have confidence that we can safely reopen and have firm dates we will let ticket holders know.”

The decision was made in consultation with performers and staff, the operators said.
