A spokesman for Amazon says that while the company is vigilantly attempting to secure more testing kits, its current supply doesn’t meet the current demand. As a result, officials have decided to limit purchases of at-home tests to 10 per customer, the rep reveals.

Pharmacy chains CVS and Walgreen’s have revealed they’re also going to place limits on testing kit purchases, although the maximum number has not been disclosed by either retailer... The increased demand for at-home testing kits comes as millions of Americans prepare to travel for the upcoming Christmas holiday – and as the Omicron variant continues to spread like wildfire throughout the country.

"We ask that our customers please show patience and understanding as together, we continue to navigate the evolving pandemic environment," Walgreens President John Standley said.
