President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are adding to their family!
The first lady's spokesperson announced today that the family has gotten a new pure-bred German Shepherd puppy, which was spotted Monday playing on the South Lawn of the White House.
The puppy is named "Commander" and was a birthday gift to the President from his brother James Biden and sister-in-law Sara Biden.
Biden celebrated his 79th birthday on November 20th.
