Airbnb is cracking down on users trying to dodge the rules and throw a New Year's Eve bash again this year...
The rental platform -- which bans large gatherings no matter the holiday -- announced last month that it would restrict users from booking a one-night rental on Dec. 31st. But now it's tightening things up even further, restricting two and three-night bookings as well.
The company forbids gatherings of more than 16 people at all of its listings, to avoid renting "chronic party houses".
"Airbnb introduced a global party banin 2020," their website reads. "The ban has emerged as a foundational component of our approach to trust and safety, and has been embraced by our Host community."
