BURBANK (CNS) - New flights from Hollywood Burbank Airport to Tucson International Airport in Arizona provided by Avelo Airlines begin today, with one-way fares starting at $29.
The flights from Burbank to Tucson are Avelo's 10th nonstop service offered from the airline's Southern California base.
The flights are available twice a week and will operate Thursdays and Sundays. Flight 143 departs Burbank at 5:40 p.m. and arrives in Tucson at 8:10 p.m. Flight 144 departs Tucson at 8:50 p.m. and arrives at Burbank at 9:30 p.m..
Avelo Airlines is planning to offer additional flights from Burbank to Tucson on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the peak holiday traveling period through the end of the year.
The flights will be operated by Boeing Next Generation 737-800 aircraft.
