Air Force Discharges 27 Service Members for Refusing Vaccine

The U.S. Air Force has discharged 27 service members for not following the Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

•These service members may be the first to be discharged for refusing the vaccine.

•Forces were given until November 2 to get the vaccine, though many refused or sought exemption.

•Ann Stefanek, a spokesperson for the Air Force, said the 27 service members were younger, lower-ranking staff.

•None of the 27 discharged members sought a religious, medical, or administrative exemption.
