LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities today identified a man who was killed in an apparent gang-related shooting in the Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles County.
Deputies sent to the 1400 block of East 90th Street at about 11:20 a.m. Monday found the man unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds in the front walkway of a home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Gill Copeland, 29, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported. His city of residence was not known.
No suspect description was available. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
