Are you in a relationship or a situationship? There is a difference and it can be confusing.

A romantic relationship is defined as voluntary relationships between individuals who have intentions that each person will be a significant part of their ongoing lives.

A situationship is an undefined romantic relationship. Unlike a friends with benefits situation, there can be feelings involved in a situationship, but the terms of the relationship and the end goal of the relationship are not defined.

Signs you are in a situationship and not a relationship are:

1. Dating Relationship with No Public Definition

2. Involves Sex

3. No long-term plans

4. Inconsistent Contact

5. Conversations are only superficial or sexual

6. You haven’t me their friends and family

Typically one person wants this and the other doesn't. If it's you who wants change, change it!
