Following Sunday's Waukesha Holiday Parade, it has been reported that three members of Milwaukee's Dancing Grannies Troop have died.
- 79-year-old Virginia Sorenson, 52-year-old Tamara Durand, and 71-year-old Lee Owens were among the many who had been hit by an SUV that drove through the parade.
- The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies released a statement saying that they were "devastated" and that, "Our group was doing what they loved, performing in front of crowds in a parade putting smiles on faces of all ages, filling them with joy and happiness."
- A person of interest in the incident is in custody.
