LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A Metro A Line passenger who had been stabbed was taken to a hospital today after the train pulled into the Florence Station, authorities said.

The train pulled into the station in the 7200 block of Graham Avenue about 11:40 a.m., and the injured man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, said Ramon Montenegro of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Transit Services Bureau.

The station was closed while an investigation was conducted, and buses were brought in to shuttle rail passengers around the area. The A Line was formerly known as the Blue Line.
