Man Wounded in Gas Station Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 49-year-old man was wounded early today when he was shot at a gas station in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles.  

The shooting was reported at 4:22 a.m. at, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.  

Paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs but did not provide suspect information to officers, Madison said.  

It was not known whether the shooting was gang related, he said.
