Magic Johnson Docuseries Is On It's Way to AppleTV+

A new docuseries about the life and career of Laker's legend, Magic Johnson, is on it's way to AppleTV+

This four-part documentary series will highlight the life and accomplishments of Laker's legend, Magic Johnson. This series will also document his accomplishments on and off the court.

This new series that was announced Thursday will have never-before-seen footage, interviews, and more footage that will "offer an unprecedented look at one of the sport's all-time greats", according to the announcement.

Magic Johnson was the NBA's #1 overall pick in 1979 and played for the Los Angeles Lakers for an incredible 13 seasons. He is a two-time NBA Hall of Famer, has won gold at the 1992 Olympic Games, and has accomplished so much more! Johnson announced that he had HIV-positive status in 1991 and since then has been a big advocate for HIV.

The series will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa and produced by XTR and New Slate Ventures.
