Ex-Raider WR Ruggs Was Driving 156 MPH At Time Of Fatal Crash

Some shocking details have been released about Tuesday's fatal DUI crash involving Raiders WR Henry Ruggs.

  • Ruggs plowed his Corvette into the back of a Toyota early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas, killing the 23-year-old driver and her dog. Ruggs and his passenger, the mother of his daughter, both suffered serious injuries and were treated at a hospital.
  • According to documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Ruggs was driving over 156 mph just seconds before the crash, and was traveling at 127 mph when the airbags deployed. Both vehicles rolled more than 500 feet after impact.
  • Blood tests revealed that Ruggs' BAC was .161 - more than double the legal limit of .08. A loaded gun was also found in the vehicle.
  • Ruggs has been charged with DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm - a felony charge that could carry a 20-year prison sentence. He was booked into jail on $150,000 bail.
