- With the win, the Braves closed the series 4-2 and clinched their first World Series title since 1995.
- Atlanta first baseman Freddie Freeman said, "I'm at a loss for words. This is it. This is everything you work for."
- Max Fried threw six shutout innings and Jorge Soler was named World Series MVP after hitting three home runs in six games, including a mammoth 446-foot three-run homer in the top of the third.
