Activision Blizzard has announced a series of changes in response to its ongoing lawsuits over alleged harassment and discrimination.
- On Thursday, CEO Bobby Kotick announced a 'zero tolerance' policy towards harassment or retaliation, promising that offenders "will be terminated immediately".
- The company will also invest $500 million into initiatives aimed at hiring "diverse talent" and creating opportunities for "under-represented communities".
- Additionally, Kotick promised more transparency and pay equity and said the company would waive forced arbitration for harassment claims.
- Is this a good start for Activision-Blizzard, or are more changes needed? Will we see other game publishers adopt similar changes?
