Michael Jordan's 1984 Nike Air Ships Sell at $1.47 Million at Auction

A pair of Nike Air Ships that Michel Jordan wore his first season with the Chicago Bulls just sold for $1.472 million dollars at Sotheby's Auctions.

The lucky owner is collector Nick Fiorella, who set a record for sneakers hitting the $1 million dollar mark at the auction.

Sotheby's said the Nike Air Ships are from Michael Jordan's fifth NBA game in his rookie season(1984). You can tell Jordan puts some miles on these red and white sneakers. They were designed by Bruce Kilgore.
