LONG BEACH (CNS) - A man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle as he crossed a Long Beach street and the driver fled the scene, authorities said today.
The crash occurred about 7:50 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of East Willow Avenue, according to Long Beach police Lt. Paul Esko.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, he said.
An investigation was underway, Esko said.
