LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man was hospitalized after he was wounded in a car-to-car shooting in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles, authorities said today.
The shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 13300 block of South Hoover Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
A man stopped his car and the suspect drove up in another vehicle, she said. Words were exchanged and the suspect fired shots into the victim's car.
Paramedics took the shooting victim to a hospital for treatment, the officer said. He had stable vital signs.
The victim refused to give officers information to aid the shooting investigation, she said.
