‘Manifest' Tops Streaming Ratings For Sixth Time

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - “Manifest'' vaulted three spots to top the list of the most-streamed programs in the first full week the final 12 episodes made for NBC streamed on Netflix, according to figures released today by Nielsen.

Viewers spent 1.388 billion minutes watching the 42 episodes of the supernatural drama between Aug. 23-29. Viewership was up 96.9% from the 705 million minutes watched the previous week when the final 12 NBC episodes were available for two days.

“Manifest'' has topped 1 billion minutes for seven weeks and finished first six times. Netflix announced Aug. 28 it had a ordered a 20-epsiode final season of “Manifest.''

“Clickbait'' topped the four programs in the latest top 10 that were not in the previous week's, finishing second, with viewers watching 912 minutes in the first five days the eight-episode miniseries about the abduction of a man (Adrian Grenier) in a crime with a sinister online twist was available on Netflix.

Another newcomer to the top 10 was third for the week, with viewers spending 815 million minutes watching “Cruella'' the first three days the comedy crime film was available for free on Disney+.

“Chicago Med'' returned to the top 10 after a one-week absence, with viewers watching 497 million minutes of the 100 episodes of the NBC medical drama, ninth for the week.

“Heartland'' returned to the top 10 after an 11-week absence, with viewers watching 490 million minutes of the 215 episodes available on Netflix, 10th for the week.

“Outer Banks'' dropped out of the top 10 after three consecutive first-place finishes, placing 11th with 483 million minutes watched of the 20 episodes of the Netflix teen mystery, 34.4% less than the 736 million minutes watched the previous week.

Also dropping out of the top 10 were the comedy “Grace and Frankie,'' The CW high school football drama “All American'' and the computer-animated musical comedy-drama movie “Vivo,'' which all stream on Netflix.

“Cruella'' ended the four-week streak of no non-Netflix program making the top 10. It was the only non-Netflix program in the top 10. Nielsen also announces streaming viewership of Amazon Prime Video and Hulu programming.

The top 10 consisted of five programs that originally aired on U.S. broadcast networks, two movies, one original streaming series, “Heartland,'' which originated on the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., and “CoComelon,'' which originated on YouTube.

The top 10 programs were “Manifest''; “Clickbait''; “Cruella''; “CoComelon''; “Grey's Anatomy''; “Criminal Minds''; “NCIS'';  ”Sweet Girl''; “Chicago Med''; and “Heartland.''

The figures only reflect television set-related viewing, including such television-connected devices as Roku and Apple TV. Mobile-only viewing is not included in Nielsen's streaming measurement systems.
