Two-time Grammy Award-winning producer, Bill Schnee, joins Conway

Two-time Grammy Award-winning producer, mix master, and engineer, Bill Schnee, joins Tim tonight to discuss his new book, "Chairman at the Board". This book shares in humorous detail his musical journey behind the closed doors of many recording sessions with an array of the greatest musical artists from the last fifty years.

Bill has personally been nominated 11 times for Best Engineered Recording and has won twice for the iconic Steely Dan albums Aja and Gaucho. Clive Davis gave Bill his big break by hiring him to work for CBS where he partnered with famed music producer Richard Perry. Schnee went on to record and/or mix many of Perry's biggest albums of the '70s and '80s, including those by Barbra Streisand, Carly Simon, Ringo Starr - with all the Beatles, Art Garfunkel, and the Pointer Sisters. In a highly decorated career, Bill has used his early beginnings as a musician and songwriter to help communicate with artists and musicians in the studio. That list includes Huey Lewis and the News, Boz Scaggs, Chicago, Ringo, Dire Straits, Miles Davis, Natalie Cole, Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, Pablo Cruise, George Benson, Aaron Neville, Barry Manilow, Bette Midler, Amy Grant, Joe Sample, Rod Stewart, and Whitney Houston, including Whitney's mega-single "I Will Always Love You".

"Chairman at the Board" is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, BAM, and IndieBound.
