Gascón Recall Reinvigorated

The campaign looking to recall Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón from office have said their first effort seems to have fallen short, but they're NOT giving up!

Yesterday, the campaign issued a statement saying they're launching a new recall committee later this year to "restart the petition gathering effort and timeline."

Campaign spokesperson, Tim Lineberger told the L.A. Times that they're not withdrawing the current recall petition, but they needed to collect 580,000 signatures from L.A. County voters by October 26th, but have so far only collected about 200,000 with just a few weeks to go.

Gary & Shannon spoke to former L.A. County District Attorney Steve Cooley about the recall effort, check out that interview below.
