HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Firefighters today knocked down a blaze at a two- story hotel under construction in Hollywood.

The 50 firefighters dispatched at 8:40 a.m. to 7023 W. Sunset Blvd. had the fire out within 25 minutes of their arrival, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

``Firefighters coordinated their efforts between rooftop ventilation, interior fire attack and patient search,'' Prange said. ``Firefighters found one individual inside, who is being evaluated by paramedics on scene.''

The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said.
