LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent for the second consecutive day to $4.404.
The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 2.3 cents higher than one month ago and $1.177 greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price has risen $1.172 since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.367, one day after remaining unchanged. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago but 1.9 cents more than one month ago and $1.164 higher than one year ago. It has risen $1.159 since the start of the year.
