There have now been three babies born aboard U.S. evacuation flights out of Afghanistan.
- U.S. Army General Steve Lyons gave the updated tally to reporters on Monday.
- "It's just an incredible operation, ongoing, you know, just impressive work by our great airmen."
- On Saturday, an Afghan woman went into labor aboard a C-17 military cargo evacuation flight. Her baby girl was born upon landing at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
- According to Pentagon officials, the U.S. has evacuated or helped to evacuate nearly 40,000 people out of Afghanistan since August 14.
