LOS ANGELES (CNS) - An autopsy was pending today to determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found near the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.
Tumarra Jones, 36, was homeless, said coroner's Lt. David Smith.
Los Angeles Fire Department units responded just after 2:25 p.m. Friday to the intersection of South Figueroa and Sixth streets on an emergency call, said department spokesperson Brian Humphrey.
A bystander flagged down arriving paramedics and led them to the location where Jones was lying unconscious and not breathing. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
