Two Men Shot Dead in Bellflower

BELLFLOWER (CNS) - Two men were shot to death in Bellflower, and Sheriff's Department homicide detectives today were investigating.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lakewood Station responded at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday to a shots fired call in the 17300 block of Ardmore Avenue, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff's Department's Information Bureau.

They discovered the two men -- both in their 40s -- in the driveway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, Koerner said.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional information was immediately available.
