NORWALK (CNS) - A man in his early 20s was under arrest today after he assaulted his father in a domestic dispute in Norwalk, police said.
Deputies from the Norwalk Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded around 11:30 p.m. Monday to a family disturbance call in the 14700 block of Horst Avenue, according to a Norwalk Station spokesman.
During their investigation, deputies learned the adult son had punched his father in the head during the disturbance, causing him to fall and lose consciousness, according to the spokesman.
The son, who had left the scene, was located and arrested on a felony charge of battery causing great bodily injury, the spokesman said.
No further details were immediately available.
