SOUTH GATE (CNS) - A man shot to death in an unincorporated area near South Gate was a Los Angeles resident, authorities said today.
Juan Ochoa was 35 years old, according to the coroner's office.
Sheriff's deputies found Ochoa suffering from gunshot wounds at 5:26 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 8200 block of Alameda Street, said Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Ochoa was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later, Arteaga said.
