ANAHEIM (CNS) - A man was shot on an Anaheim street and died a short time later at a hospital, authorities said today.
The shooting was reported at 9:24 p.m. at Laxore Street and Orange Avenue, Anaheim police Lt. Lorenzo Glenn told a news videographer at the scene.
The victim had at least one gunshot wound to the chest, Glenn said. He was taken by paramedics to UCI Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Suspect information and motive were not immediately available, Glenn said.
